In September 2025, Dr. Gong Lunli attended the 22nd Academic Conference of the Chinese Society of Plastic Surgery.

The 22nd Academic Conference of the Chinese Society of Plastic Surgery was held in Beijing. The conference was hosted by the Chinese Medical Association and its Plastic Surgery Branch, and co-organized by Peking Union Medical College Hospital and the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Coinciding with the 110th anniversary of the Chinese Medical Association, this conference, themed "Inheritance, Collaboration, and Innovation," held significant milestone importance.

The conference released the "Top Ten Scientific Issues in the Field of Plastic Surgery in China in 2024," covering cutting-edge areas such as genetics, immunology, materials science, stem cell biology, and artificial intelligence, constructing a multi-dimensional medical framework encompassing "reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, and regenerative medicine." The conference also established the "40 Under 40" Young Physician Forum, providing a platform for young scholars to showcase their talents and highlighting the vibrant development of the discipline.
